Student Seeking Industry Information

Postby Student » Wed Feb 08, 2012 3:46 pm

Hello,

I am a college student looking for industry information on paramedical exam/service companies. While searching the internet I have found a lot of information about insurance companies, however, I am having an extremely difficult time finding information about the relationship between insurance companies and paramedical exam companies.

I am looking for information pertaining to - regulatory climate, labor costs, fixed vs. variable cost structure, and entry barriers. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you very much.

I saw this post on paramedical examiner.net and am pretty curious myself.
You don't see many being able to compete with the big PC's.
This can be discouraging to PE's trying to be free from any PC you can't, at the very least you have to choose one bill through, we are suppose to be our own businesses. But yet I can't just write up a invoice and send it to a IC for my services, I have to put it through one of the big PC's and they get 15%. hmmm??????
