Is coverage becoming a problem?

An "ANYTHING GOES" forum for discussing the interests, issues and concerns of the paramedical examiner community. Sharing ideas, knowledge, experiences and opinions is strongly encouraged.

However, we do ask that all participants respect the rights of others to communicate in whatever manner they wish, positive or negative, and TRY to behave respectfully toward one another when conflicts in views or opinions arise.

Our goal is to create an environment where examiners can speak openly and honestly without the restrictions of forced diplomacy or the constraints of having to observe over-bearing rules of political correctness.

Is it me or are others seeing PCs having problems providing coverage?

I've definitely noticed a change.

superior used to send me a case here and there, like one every 2 years.
I know it was because I charged $35 per PBU and $50 for PBUE (with them supplying the kits) but I didn't care if they gave the work to someone else. I wasn't willing to do the work for any less.

over the past 8 -12 months they were calling me 2- 4 x per month.

I'm seeing similar things

calls from out of the blue from exam companies I never worked for

calls from companies I used to work for who are now willing to discuss higher pay when they wouldn't even consider talking about a raise before

there seems to be desperation that I never saw before
